In close cooperation with the NGO Dyrenes Beskyttelse (Animal Protection Denmark), Baltic Control® Certification has been assigned to check the farms that are or want to be part of the labeling scheme ‘Recommended by Animal Protection Denmark’ since June 1st 2016.

The labeling scheme includes meat from animals bred within the rules of good animal welfare and includes more than 400 farms covering the following groups of animals: pigs, beef cattle, dairy cattle, poultry, egg production, American bison, sheep, lamb and wild deers. All farms will receive a visit from one of Baltic Control® Certifications experienced auditors at least once every year.
