Baltic Control® has officially been included on the list of approved Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) agencies by the Department of Plant Protection (DPP), Government of Pakistan, for betel nut consignments.
According to the newly introduced regulations, Pre-Shipment Inspection is now mandatory for betel nut imports into Pakistan. In order for shipments to be accepted for import clearance, cargo must comply with the applicable DPP requirements prior to shipment.
The current import requirements include:
- Mandatory Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
- Compliance with import permit conditions
- QR-code enabled documentation and traceability
- Laboratory testing procedures
- Verification of shipment quality and documentation
